John Paul Jones, III
John Paul Jones III (US Co-PI) is a human geographer with an interest in social and cultural theory and geographic methodology. His work has examined the geographic aspects of organizations, identity theory, representational theory, 'postmodernism' and poststructuralism, and the analysis of visual media, including film/video and Google Earth.
Jones recently finished an NSF project on transnational networks of NGOs in Oaxaca, Mexico, with his collaborators Sue Roberts (University of Kentucky) and Oliver Froehling (Universidad de la Tierra, Oaxaca). He is the writing phase of an NSF project on mosquito management in southern Arizona with his colleagues Paul Robbins, Andrew Comrie, Wim van Leeuwen, and Elizabeth Willott (University of Arizona).
